Shift Leader

Our client is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to oversee manufacturing operations, lead production teams and ensure production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved

Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily shop floor activities and take ownership of the assigned production area
• Lead Gemba meetings, shift handovers and daily production reviews
• Monitor production targets and manage resources effectively
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Identify process improvements and implement Lean Manufacturing practices
• Support employee development, training and teamwork
• Oversee shift activities relating to maintenance, quality, supply and systems

Skills & Competencies
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage production teams and achieve targets
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to train and develop team members

Qualifications & Experience
• 5–10 years of manufacturing experience
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Gemba leadership role
• Experience setting and achieving production targets
