About the Role
Our client is looking for a Product Development & Solutions Specialist to develop innovative cross-border tax and compliance solutions while supporting the commercial team with deal structuring and complex client engagements. This role combines research, product development and client interaction, offering the opportunity to design practical solutions that address international tax, customs and supply chain challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new cross-border tax and compliance products
- Support the commercial team with deal structuring and the design of complex client solutions
- Identify new commercial opportunities and develop practical, scalable solutions
- Conduct research on international tax, VAT, customs, accounting and corporate structures
- Work directly with Sales and Client Success teams to support client engagements
- Collaborate with local legal, tax and accounting advisors to understand market-specific regulatory requirements
- Apply to local revenue authorities for special rulings where required
- Present technical solutions to clients and senior stakeholders
- Support the successful implementation of new products and solutions
- Research and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Commercially minded, balancing technical accuracy with practical business outcomes
- Excellent problem-solving ability with a structured and logical approach
- Excellent communicator, comfortable presenting complex concepts simply to clients and senior stakeholders
- Creative, structured and well-organised, with the ability to develop innovative products and manage multiple priorities while collaborating across teams
- Curious, adaptable and driven, thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where the role evolves alongside the needs of the business
- Excellent academic results at both high school and university level
- Degree in Accounting, Tax, Law, Finance, Economics or another business-related discipline
- Professional qualification (CA(SA), ACA, CPA, CTA, LLB or similar) is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business problems and develop practical commercial solutions
