This role involves partnering with clients to understand their needs, providing strategic guidance, resolving challenges, and identifying opportunities to grow client accounts while ensuring long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by creating customised import solutions across various industries
- Make key strategic decisions with clients
- Make key pricing decisions on clients' projects
- Take responsibility for resolving any issues arising from the service team
- Utilise client relationships to upsell and grow revenue by selling new products and introducing clients to new opportunities
- Provide exceptional service and ensure a positive client experience throughout the customer journey
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Maintain effective daily communication with relevant team members
- Ability to adapt within an ever-changing shipping environment
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to proactively identify problems in advance
- Creative problem-solving ability
- Independent thinker and resourceful
- Energetic, enthusiastic and personable
- General business acumen
- University Undergraduate Degree of any background (Commerce preferred)
- Honours Degree advantageous
- Work experience advantageous
- Strong academic track record required
